Gyokuro

This top quality green Japanese tea is coming from the Kyoto prefecture. It is harvested in the end of May, while the tea bushes three weeks before plucking are covered in order to protect the leaves from direct sun. This method reduces the tannin contents and gives the tea a sweet flavor. It should be brewed at 158 °F up to 5 times.
