You should observe some simple rules to take pleasure in a wonderful taste of tea.
At first, you should use spring water or, as a last resort, filtered one. It is traditional to take porcelain or ceramic tea pot for the proper brewing. Warm it thoroughly by rinsing out with boiling water no less then three times. Then dry the pot and put one teaspoonful per cup as well as one teaspoonful for the pot. After that you should fill up the pot to the half with hot water (approx. 95œ C / 203œ F). Then put the tea-pot cover back and cover it with a towel, so as not to let the bewitching odor to evaporate. Time of infusion entirely depends on the tea sort and the desired result. For instance, if we infuse black tea for three minutes — we get invigorative drink, and five minutes infusion will make tea with calming effect.
When the tea has been infused, you should add boiling water but not to the top of the pot. Now the tea is ready — stir it up and pour into the cups.
You need not dilute your tea with boiling water! You have prepared ready-for-use tea, not concentrated brewing. You should drink tea within 15-20 minutes after the brewing. Every time you need fresh brewing.
